Cosmo Desktop App Reviews
The app is simple enough to use. Click on a picture and its downloaded immediately and put on the desktop. However, there is no way to select multiple files for download. This is only an issue when you first use the app, and even then it doesnt matter if you only want the new images. Still, it would be nice to have an easier way to dowload multiple images. Also, I cant understand why the app is unresponsive to the arrow keys. The only way to look through the images is with the mouse/trackpad, which is kind of annoying. It works fine; just needs a bit of polish.
One small request
Absolutely love the app. If it set the most recent pic as your wallpaper automatically each day, I would have voted 5 stars!
Couldn’t be easier to use, just click the image you want as the background. Thats it! For multiple monitors simply make sure the monitor/desktop you want is active and then click an image. It will only set the background for the monitor you currently have active (with the menu bar at the top not faded out).
It doesn’t work on a Mac Mini
I’ve tried several times to install Cosmo Desktop screensaver to a Mac mini M1, but it simply doesn’t work. It just hangs. Perhaps it’s for the Intel version? It doesn’t say, it just hangs.
Crashes immediately
Do not use.
Really?
Your support link goes to a flower sales site - seriously?
Poor quality
All of the images are of too poor quality to be used as desktop. Many of the images are not even from NASA. And some are pirated images form internet sites including watermarks of the original photographer.
Works great, works on multiple monitors!
